PROJECTS
Below are some of the projects that I am currently working on or have worked on in the past. Of course there are others not here...which are private projects or have been "lost in the digital fire" so-to-speak. Click here to change color.

PROJECT URL: http://documentronjs.chris-malcolm.com
TEAM: Chris Malcolm
YEAR / VERSION: 2017 / v0.5

Documentron is a javascript library for quicker documentation by Chris Malcolm. Documentron parses scripts and looks for comment blocks, with the open portion having double ** asterisks. Documentron's documentation is actually documented by itself! This syntax is loosely based on the JSDoc syntax. with @parameters Some improvements were creating more flexible framework for subparameters, flags, and groups, as mentioned above.

PROJECT URL: http://cmcm.io
TEAM: Chris Malcolm
YEAR / VERSION: 2014 / v1.0

Built off the same principles of Blogweenie, CMCM is a simple sexy content manager for designers, built with PHP and Javascript, and a database-less storage tactic--A JSON-based content manager. It allows you to drag and drop the files to and from any directory on your server without having to migrate any other dependencies (such as SQL/ database structures). The goal was to make a manager that is transparent, flexible, and transportable. As long as your server has PHP, it should work on any server. It is extremely robust and handsdown the most ambitious project I've done thus far. CMCM is also equipped with frunt, a designed-for-cmcm api for grabbing project data, sorting, displaying widgets (menu, slideshows, etc), and more. Not only is CMCM flexible and simple, but can be extended to have as many attributes as you want, as well as multi-user, multi-backend support!

PROJECT URL: http://chris-malcolm.com/projects/ascii/previewer.php
TEAM: Chris Malcolm
YEAR / VERSION: 2013 / beta

Introducing gifTs. Convert your favorite animated gif's to Animated ascii text. Why? Why not. A small "for funsies" project to do just that. Try sample gifs, upload your own, and then export them to your computer as ascii gifs / submit them to the site!

PROJECT URL: http://chris-malcolm.com/projects/blogweenie
TEAM: Chris Malcolm
YEAR / VERSION: 2013 / v1.1

Blogweenie is a super simple-tiny-baby-lightweight blog engine, that is so streamlined and flexible, your tech savvy grandma could do it! It uses PHP JSON so no database installations required! Extremely bare bones on purpose!

PROJECT URL: http://chris-malcolm.com/siteVault/archiduck (formally archiduck.com)
TEAM: Chris Malcolm
YEAR / VERSION: 2011 / v1.0

ARCHIDUCK was an initiative to create a global archive MACHINE of architecture (and architecture-related) STUDENT WORK from around the world. Originally http://archiduck.com, the submission was automated, allowing arch students from around the world to register, upload images by categoiry, type descriptions, very easily. The backend was also completely from scratch, allowing moderators to edit and approve quickly. The project was discontinued, due to lack of submissions.

PROJECT URL: http://rpl.mit.edu (Aesthetics were updated)
TEAM: Chris Malcolm
YEAR / VERSION: 2011 / v2.0

The MIT Architecture Department's Rapid Prototyping Lab provides equipment and software that students and faculty can use to fabricate physical objects from 3d models and CAD drawings. The Facility also manages MIT SAP's wood shop's and fab lab facilities. The project was to transition MIT's signup sheets from the archaic manual method of paper and pen to an online calendar system where students can sign up for various machinery. The site featured a fully automated calendar signup sytem, equipped with admin panel, personal portal of timesheets, and certificate authentication. The site has since gone aesthetic changes.

PROJECT URL: http://catsticker.com
TEAM: Chris Malcolm
YEAR / VERSION: 2010 / v2.0

Catsticker.com is a mysterious force of nature that spontaneously arose from the deep depths of pure joy and happiness, never to occur again for another three trillion years. It's perfection can be compared to that of fresh sizzling bacon, dolphins in the sunset, warm hazelnut cookies, and the rare but delicious skittlefairy. On top of these features, the site also boasts a (somewhat daily) music blog and a ton of cats...all curated by none other than the infamous adhesiv cat. 2.0 takes the site to the next level, by integrating social features such as user accounts, crowdsourced music uploads, favorite playlists, and more.
